The world is moving fuller and faster today. We are consuming stories more often and, in smaller chunks. It is not as much about being all that busy, as it is the anywhere, anytime access to content that interests us. Our daily diet of news, music, messages, and postings is a meal enjoyed all day long, with a hundred short bites of tasty bytes.
One Page Novels are designed to provide a rich story experience in the few minutes it takes to either read one or hear it narrated. Some make you think. Some make you feel.
The simple idea is that at any time, during the day - with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, waiting for a train or friend or just sitting in the sun, a one-page novel can whisk you away, delight you, make you laugh, wonder, cry or maybe just provoke an intriguing thought or two.
The One Page Novel's Guild was created to be an extensive library and platform of such, where one-pagers of all genres can be read, reviewed, judged, heard, shared and authored.
Authors are encouraged to join the Guild, comment, vote, and submit their stories. This is a stage for budding professionals to parade their writing acumen, and a place for creative people of all levels to write and express themselves short of a full-scale novel. As such, One Page Novels can be a fresh new infusion of creation and possibility for the entire publishing industry, in this digital age.
This Guild embraces a robust community of readers and writers, where natural energy around stories may lead to higher levels of the storyteller art and exciting new formats. Perhaps different writers can author sequels to original one-pagers of others … a collection if you will. One could also imagine this creative tsunami building One Minute Movies or One Scene Videos.
The Guild also understands the concept of currency and is happy to foster the use of the OPNG App in any realm, be it as high-value content on other sites or as a teaching tool anywhere in the world.
Our hope is that in its small way (pun aside), the One Page Novel’s Guild offers the world a fun, new chapter in the art and pleasures of the story.

I see the world as a zillion stories … just waiting to be told.
Some make you laugh or cry, others make you think, feel and even learn.
Stories, well-told, bind the past to the future, give voice to the obscure and nourish the human soul throughout eternity.
My humble quest is to offer the world a new way to experience the story throughout their daily digital lives.
I am a novice novelist but I have written over a 100 One Page Novels and narrated many.
My fervent hope is that this starts the ball rolling and a world of a million One Page Novels happens with thousands of authors and readers helping build the Guild as their home for the story.
